CivicBot is a platform that facilitates communication between residents and local councils. Our service allows residents to:

  • Report local issues and concerns
  • Track the status of reported issues
  • Receive updates from local councils
  • Participate in community feedback and voting

CivicBot is currently in pre-launch phase. Services are being rolled out ward by ward based on postcode areas.

3. User Accounts and Waitlist

Waitlist Registration: By joining our waitlist, you provide your email address and role (resident, council member, or interested party). You consent to receive communications about CivicBot's launch in your area.

Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current information during registration.

Unsubscribe: You may unsubscribe from waitlist communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting info@civicbot.co.uk

4. User Conduct

When using CivicBot, you agree to:

  • Use the service only for lawful purposes
  • Not impersonate others or provide false information
  • Not use the platform to harass, abuse, or threaten others
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Not transmit malicious code or spam
  • Respect the privacy and rights of other users

All content, features, and functionality of CivicBot, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by CivicBot and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our explicit written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

CivicBot provides a platform for communication but does not guarantee issue resolution. We are not responsible for:

  • Actions or inactions of local councils
  • Delays in issue resolution
  • Service interruptions or technical issues
  • Third-party content or links

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CivicBot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue services with or without notice
  • Perform maintenance that may temporarily affect availability
  • Limit access to certain features or areas

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to CivicBot immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may discontinue use of our services at any time.
